Our 2018 program theme is Coaching In & Out. “In” refers to being fully present with our clients IN the coaching conversation, where our best tool is the core competency of Powerful Questioning.  Asking questions to clarify goals, shift client perception, take action, or simply out of curiosity provides space for clients to focus on getting what they really want.

Powerful Questions evoke in our clients new ways to think about their situation, themselves, or how they work with others.

Our presenter, Sherry Greenleaf, will lead you through questioning exercises that you will want to use with your clients.  She will offer several frames to help you dive more quickly and deeply into what really matters for your clients.  During the meeting you will practice these tools on each other (of course!).

What you’ll get from the session:
  • Understand the distinction between asking “what” and “how” questions versus the “why,” and how to reframe questions that go deeper.
  • Questions you can use to dig more deeply.
  • How to use questions to close a coaching session and focus your client on what’s next.
  • Practice in the moment, plus some new questions you can take home and use immediately!
